Elizabeth Sharma (RN) Registered Nurse Practitioner

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Sharma. I was born in Reading, England but
currently reside in Niagara Falls, Ontario. In addition to working as a nurse practitioner, I also have extensive experience as a registered nurse and have dealt with diverse patient populations including adults and pediatrics in primary health
as well as adults and geriatrics with mental health concerns and addictions. Throughout the years, I have
liaised with members of the allied health team including social work and community supports to ensure
that patients’ concerns are heard and validated as a means of fully supporting their health care needs. I
am a graduate of Athabasca University as a family nurse practitioner and I also have additional training
in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, gentle persuasive approach in seniors and
wellness coaching. I am hoping to assist those who are dealing with personal issues including mental
health concerns, grief, addictions and trauma; to allow these difficult times to somehow create a better
life for you with a hopeful and optimistic future!
