Hi, I’m Sam!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I also hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Disability Studies.
The majority of my professional life has been focused on helping people achieve success in their lives. I acknowledge that success is measured differently by all individuals. As a result, I’m passionate about helping people not only develop awareness of the future they want for themselves, but also helping them develop the strategies they need to get there. I truly believe that each and every individual is capable of living the life they want for themselves. My goal is to support clients as they work towards obtaining this desired life.
I utilize a person-centered approach which positions the client as the leader of their own lives. I am committed to providing compassionate care that exudes empathy, non-judgement, and universal acceptance.
I utilize a holistic approach that considers the multi-layered reality of a person’s life. This means that I always consider the various lived experiences of clients when working to address current life challenges. Ultimately, my goal is to work collaboratively with clients to provide the support that best meets their needs by considering the uniqueness of their experiences.
