My name is Courtney Hayman. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and have a master's degree in Counselling Psychology. I provide services for young people, adults, couples and families who are looking for someone to work through their struggles with.
My approach to counselling is non-judgmental, kind and empathetic. I focus on client strengths and help people develop and work towards goals for counselling. I believe that every client requires their own treatment plan for therapy and we will work together to figure out what that is!
Whether you are looking for a brief, solution focused therapy, strategies to improve your coping skills, or a more intensive therapeutic venture, I am here to help you. I understand that mental health problems manifest in different ways and that it can be difficult to figure out how to cope with these problems using healthy, effective strategies. I like to meet clients where they are at in their life and emphasize their personal strengths.
I have experience engaging in both individual and group counselling as well as assessments and referrals to treatment. I am client focused and determined to provide a safe space for everyone to feel comfortable in.
