I am a Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work, I have over 16 years of experience working in mental health services in various settings such as hospitals, Community Health Centres, and Residential Addiction Treatment Services. I have professional training and certification in the areas of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focus Therapy (EFT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Grief and Loss.
In my practice, I incorporate various evidence-based treatment modalities to meet the unique needs of each of my clients and approach care from person-centred, strength-based, trauma-informed, and intersectional approaches.
My goal as a therapist is to provide compassionate support to empower my clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can freely explore their thoughts and emotions and experience positive transformations by recognizing their inner strength. I embrace people of all abilities, races, ethnicities, religions, cultures and sexual orientations and respect individuals' preferred gender identities and tailor my therapy session to meet the specific needs of clients.
