Jonathan Psychotherapy for You

Krisandra Einboden
Master of Social Work

Are you experiencing a sense of disconnection from your mind and body? What if I told you there's hope, and together, we can work towards reuniting your mind and body by fostering a sense of harmony within yourself once again?

Hi! I'm Krisandra, a passionate student intern embarking on a journey in the field of social work and psychotherapy. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at the University of Windsor. I am eager to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

While pursuing my studies in social work, I have served as a first responder in law enforcement. This experience has equipped me with firsthand expertise in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques and has provided me with valuable insights into trauma, stress, and resilience. Shaping my understanding of the complexities of human behavior and the importance of therapeutic support.

My interest in psychotherapy stems from a deep curiosity about the human mind and a genuine desire to help individuals overcome life's challenges. Throughout my academic journey, I have immersed myself in courses covering various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and mindfulness.

I am dedicated to expanding my understanding of different approaches and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment. I understand the importance of active listening, empathy, and genuine engagement in the therapeutic process.

While I may be in the early stages of my career, I bring enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn. I value feedback and supervision as opportunities for growth and refinement of my skills.
If you're seeking support and guidance on your path towards personal growth and healing, I would be honored to accompany you on that journey.
