Jonathan Psychotherapy for You

Raj Naik
MSW, RSW, PG In Counselling

I have extensive experience in dealing with PTSD as well as anxiety and depression with people in high-stress careers. I have experience working with couples struggling with a variety of issues from infidelity to strengthening their relationships. I have helped and cared for many veterans and I use compassion and understanding to help my clients with their feelings of loss and grief during this complex and challenging time.

In my personal life, I have explored the practices of yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, and alternative states of consciousness to support tapping into the inner wisdom held in the body. This has increased my capacity to move through the hardships inherent in the cycles of life. I also believe in the value of incorporating playfulness in our daily lives and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, cooking, exploring, doing yoga, and dancing.

I support people with challenges relating to anxiety/depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, identity, trauma, and substance use.
With a passion for supporting the Hindi and Telugu communities, I strive to engage and relate to clients with mixed methods of counselling and psychotherapy, honesty and a little bit of humour!
I hope to create a safe and affirming space for every person in every session, and believe that this in combination with an atmosphere in which I accept and welcome feedback creates a strong therapeutic relationship.
