Rachael Morton
I am a registered social worker in British Columbia with a Master of Social Work with a clinical focus and have been working in mental health for nearly 3 years in a healthcare environment. I also have experience working in addictions. Previously, I worked as an emergency telecommunications operator which ignited my passion to support the mental health of first responders and vulnerable populations alike.
My approach draws from elements of person-centered therapy, anti-oppressive practice, ecological systems theory, cognitive behavioural therapy, and mindful self-compassion to help you better understand the “why” behind harmful thoughts and feelings and help you work toward being the best and happiest version of yourself. I look forward to our journey together, please let me know how I can best support you in your healing.
I work with individuals ages 16 and up, couples and families. J'offre des consultations en français aussi.
