Jordan Boyd
Master of Social Work (MSW)
Hi and welcome! I have a Master of Social Work and feel truly grateful to be able to spend this time with you. My background is in crisis services, where I’ve supported people through some of the most challenging and overwhelming times in their lives. I’ve worked with a wide range of issues—everything from family challenges, substance use, and suicidal thoughts to career goals, grief, depression, anxiety, psychosis, trauma, and building healthy boundaries. I also have experience working with diverse populations, including those who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their families.
I believe that healing happens best when we feel safe and connected. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I work from a trauma-informed and person-centered perspective, meaning your feelings, comfort, and goals are always my main focus. I think humor and authenticity are important in this work—I’ll always bring my genuine self into our sessions to help build trust and ease.
I use a variety of tools and approaches, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and strength-based techniques, all tailored to what feels right for you.
I’m really looking forward to walking alongside you on this journey and supporting you as you explore, heal, and grow.
